Fun Fact:
1. My favorite game is Dota 2, I played against SumaiL once upon a time and I even won the game with 10+ deaths.
2. My favorite movie is Pulp Fiction, you just can't resist to watch it again and order a cheese burger & Sprites.
3. I am dog person, but never get a chance to raise one. I will have one once my GF agrees to take care of its poop.
Skills
To work as a product specialist, I kept learning and mastering different skill sets and design tools to make sure that I can rapidlly transform the ideas to a testable prototype, as well as to verify its usability. Also I believe that the product designer should also have tech background in order to communicate fluently with the development team.

Product Design Manager
2017 - Present
SAIC Volkswagen, Shanghai
- Lead all connectivity products(App,Watch,HMI) for SVW, create the standarized design process and supervise the deliverables for every product line.
- Worked as team lead to build the holistic user experience framework for MOS & MEB project, and to support agile team on each design iteration.
- Manage the design team, form a open and innovative working vibe and provide counsel on all aspects of the project.

- Designed the HMI and infotainment 3.0 system for GM vehicle.
- Worked as domain lead of vehicle information page and redesign the UI for MY20 GM vehicle.

Educational App to improve museum visit experience
Jan - May 2017
- Designed the wireframe and prototype of gamified mobile app.
- Restructured the interaction flow of digital map and navigation system.
Data Visualization of U.S. Citizen Health Condition
Feb - May 2014
- Prototyped the high-fidelity visualization with partial real data and tested usability of the prototype interactions.
- Programmed the choropleth map with d3.js library and added the interactions on the map.
Portfolio
I have curated several latest projects that I have led or participated in recent years, most of them comes from 'SVW mobile app & HMI system'. You can check the released product via IOS/Android/Production car. The case study however, mainly focus on demonstraing the design rationale, process and philosophy.
